James Dernier is Director of Operations & Head of Insurance for Lockhart Murphy.

He is responsible for developing, improving and implementing corporate and lead strategies in all organisational operations to ensure the company meets its short and long-term objectives. It is also necessary that he manages the day-to-day operations of every department, establishing company policies, making necessary changes and adhering to compliance procedures.

James’ attention to detail and focus on exceptional customer service ensures that every client at Lockhart Murphy receives the best advice, stress free.

Before joining Lockhart Murphy, James has spent the majority of his career in the finance industry, most notably, as a mortgage and protection adviser. During this time, he advised, structured finance and arranged personal insurance for his clients.

Outside of work, James is a fitness enthusiast. He also enjoys shooting, fishing and playing golf.
